Rain and hail

not much new has happened this week. im taking pictures with all the families that i can before i go, so ill send them home when i finish. it has been raining a lot here lately, and it hailed this morning, but thats about it. i was able to go to the spanish branch again this week for the first time in like 2 months. when i got back for sacrament meeting in the downey ward the bishop asked me to fill in as a speaker because the guy who was supposed to couldnt make it, so i had a few minutes to prepare a speech from preach my gospel. ive noticed that before my mission, when i had to speak i had to prepare everything, all the scriptures, quotes, all that stuff, but now i can just teach it and go to whichever scriptures comes to mind because i know the material so much better. quite handy for giving last minute speeches. i believe i told you about a family we were bringing back to church, the arteagas. well, two weeks ago they told me they were going to park city (which is where i tell people im from because no one has ever heard of K-Town) and the said they were going to be going on a sleigh ride there, so i told them to ask for grandpa. i dont know if they went to the one he does or what, because they just got back and we havent had a chance to visit them and find out if they saw him. no more interesting news as of now.
